Today will go down as the Lost  Day of our vacation. I woke up this morning feeling a little off and within ten minutes I was down with some kind of stomach bug. Ugh! Not what we had planned for our nice peaceful vacation! Tim was disappointed because he has a long list of things he wanted to help with on the farm, but he had to put them all aside to watch the kiddos so that I could get some much needed rest. Thankfully he’s a great dad and enjoys his kids and handled the change of plans much better than I would have! I wasn’t actually functioning until after 3pm and by then most of our day was done. I let the kids play in the kiddie pool some and after dinner we went down to the lake for a little while. Here’s praying tomorrow will be better!!
